Intesa Sanpaolo Virtual Card — Your Secret Code for Online Shopping

Generate an instant temporary virtual card directly from Mobile Banking or Internet Banking, valid for a single online payment. Think of it as a "temporary code" for your card: you always pay with a new card, while your physical card remains secure.

Benefits of a Virtual Card

• Instant issuance via Mobile Banking or Internet Banking, whenever you need it, with no additional issuance or maintenance fees.
• Linked to your Visa Platinum Inspire card and the same RON current account, and can be used exclusively for online payments (e-commerce).
• You can have up to 5 active virtual cards at the same time.
• You can issue up to 5 virtual cards per day.
• One card, one online payment. The transaction is protected by 3D Secure (Visa Secure), and the card automatically becomes inactive after the payment is completed.
• The card is valid for up to 5 days from issuance or until the first transaction, whichever comes first.
• You choose the spending limit when issuing the virtual card (up to RON 50.000/10.000 EUR). This limit cannot be changed afterwards. When making an online payment, the lower limit between the one you selected and the maximum usage limit of your Visa Platinum Inspire physical card will be applied automatically.
• You can block the virtual card at any time through Mobile Banking or Internet Banking. Blocking is irreversible and does not affect your physical card.
• It is a virtual-only card: it has no physical form, cannot be stored with merchants, and cannot be added to digital wallets.

How to Use It

1. Generate it in Mobile Banking or Internet Banking in just a few seconds.
2. Enter the card details (card number, expiry date, and CVV) when making an online payment. Be sure to note down the CVV immediately after the card is generated. For security reasons, it is not stored anywhere and cannot be retrieved later.
3. The card is automatically deactivated after the first successful transaction or within a maximum of 5 days from issuance, whichever comes first, with no action required on your part.

No need to download a new app, all you need to do:

Enable push notifications for Mobile Banking from your phone's settings 
Confirm payment via #WITHKEY by accessing the push notification received on your phone and using the authentication method available in the app: biometrics (facial recognition, fingerprint) or any security key (PIN, pattern, password, etc.)
If you have not activated push notifications or have not received the notification, access #WITHKEY, swipe the screen, scan the QR code displayed on the authorisation page, confirm using the app's authentication method and enter the code generated on the authorisation page. That's it, you have completed your payment authentication!
