Online foreign exchange at BNR exchange rate - additional benefit offered to the clients who hold START, PLUS, PREMIUM Transaction Offers

The online currency exchange service at the BNR exchange rate is a special offer, which benefits the clients who are natural persons, holders of the START, PLUS, PREMIUM Transaction Offers, who have contracted Digital Banking (Mobile and Internet Banking) or Internet Banking I-B@nk (activated until 26.06.2023). The service is an additional benefit and is not part of the START, PLUS, PREMIUM Transactional Offer structure.

Main features of the Service:
- Foreign exchange between LEI and EUR currencies (LEI-EUR, EUR-LEI), between own current accounts opened with the Bank, carried out via Digital Banking (Mobile and Internet Banking) or Internet Banking I-B@nk (activated until 26.06.2023), included in the framework of START, PLUS, PREMIUM Transaction Offers opened with the Bank, are included.
- The currency exchanges included in the Service take place daily, on banking and non-banking days.
For foreign exchange included in the Service, the Bank will apply the exchange rate communicated by the NBR each banking day:
The exchange rate communicated by the NBR on the previous banking day shall apply until the exchange rate communicated by the NBR after 13:00 on the current banking day is updated in the Bank's systems.
The exchange rate communicated by the NBR after 13:00 on the current banking day shall apply until the exchange rate to be communicated by the NBR after 13:00 on the following banking day is updated in the Bank's systems.
The NBR exchange rate will apply for foreign exchange operations within the following monthly limits:
Maximum EUR 1,000 equivalent per month for the START Transaction Offer,
Maximum EUR 2,000 equivalent per month for the PLUS Transaction Offer,
Maximum EUR 5,000 equivalent per month for the PREMIUM Transaction Offer.
In the event that the exchange limit at the BNR rate has not been fully used up, but does not cover the full amount that the client wishes to exchange, a weighted average rate will be calculated for the transaction in question, so that the remaining amount of the limit not used up is exchanged at the BNR rate and the rest of the amount at the Bank's standard rate.
The exchange rate communicated by the NBR on the last working day shall apply to foreign exchange exchanges carried out during the following non-working days, until the exchange rate communicated by the NBR on the next working day after 13:00 is updated in the Bank's systems.
During the Bank's day/month-end closing operations and other pre-announced interruptions of the Bank's systems, foreign exchange exchanges initiated by customers will remain on hold and will be settled after the end of the respective operations.
On any banking day, the maximum limit of EUR 5,000 equivalent shall apply to foreign exchange transactions carried out after 15:45 until 9:00 on the following banking day, regardless of whether there are any non-banking calendar days between the two banking days.
